Commission on Innovation and Investment

At the 10-th of December 2010 the Board of Directors of the International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black and Caspian Seas decided to establish a Commission on Innovation and Investment. Director of the BSCSIF branch in the Russian Federation Mikhail Zernov was elected Chairman of the Comission. The Commission took an active part in the creation of the Alliance of the Seas consortium, which brought together more than 700 banks, investment companies, manufacturers, associations, private investors, individual entrepreneurs, innovative structures from the EU, Russia and Africa to implement major international and Russian projects.

The Consortium ceased its work transferring its powers to the IFSPD Commission on June 2014.

Due to the renaming of the founding organization the name of the structure itself was changed: "Commission on Innovation and Investment of the International Fund for Sustainable Peace and Development (IFSPD)" in 2017.

Over the past period 2010-2022, the Commission has implemented dozens of projects in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey, in Eastern Europe and on the African continent

At the moment the Commission continues to search for promising innovative technologies for investment projects and their implementation in Russia and abroad, a register of potential investors is being created.
