The International Center for Law and Security (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established at the suggestion of the Branch of the International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development in the Russian Federation (IFSPD) on the basis of a decision taken at the 18th meeting of the IFSPD Board of Directors at 26-th of 2019 in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia).

The initiative to create the Center belonged to IFSPD Vice-Presidents from the Russian Federation Viktor Khmarin and Mikhail Zernov.

Since 2013, IFSPD has had a Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council, its members are well—known representatives of 50 countries - politicians, diplomats, professors, public figures from Austria, Azerbaijan, Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan Kyrgyzstan, China, Macedonia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Sao Tome and Principe, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Republic of Sri Lanka, Estonia and South Africa, etc.

The IFSPD aims to develop cooperation in the fields of law and civil liberties, economic development, and support international efforts in the fight against organized crime.

In the conditions of the sanctions war, obstruction of free entrepreneurial activity, not only Russian business suffers, but also our foreign partners.

An important reason for the creation of the Center is also the unfavorable business climate within Russia itself. The calls of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to protect business from excessive control do not lead to real results. At the same time, raider seizures continue, unfair competition, protectionism, attempts to influence the adoption of judicial decisions take place.

The main task of the Center is to provide legal support to Russian and foreign entrepreneurs in all aspects of their activities: providing prompt legal assistance, restoring legality, legal support for business, as well as financial consulting, auditing and outsourcing of accounting, conducting various examinations.

To implement the goals and objectives of the Center, a company of the same name was created – LLC Center for Legal Assistance and Security, headed by Director General Lyudmila Torshina.
